The Goddess of the Lower Nile
There's this goddess in Egypt, ancient Egypt called Wajet. And she was a snake goddess. Later when the Egyptian gods from the north and the south were like kind of coming together and being fused into one religion, she ended up becoming the snake on the crown. So it is the goddess of the lower Nile and she's also she has a holiday once a year that has been celebrated for thousands of years. The going forth of Wajet occurs three days after the winter solstice.
