The Crypto Industry in the Bahamas

The Bahamas was a major entrepreneur for the Medellin Cartel's cocaine business in the U.S. from the late 70s onwards about 70% of the cocaine flowing into the US came by way of the Bahamas through to the early 1980s. The Bahamas moved very concertedly both political parties in the Bahamas because it's a two party system with government alternating between the two and there was essentially a kind of consensus in the 2010s that this might be the next big thing. So they passed a big piece of legislation in 2020 which was one judged by the global crypto community to be the most advanced most sophisticated framing.
