So the fact that we've been able to snag you is really, really exciting. He says he came across heart rate variability by shadowing a biofeedback clinic for veterans who were getting better at reducing their pain subjectivity and titrate off of opioid based medications. The concept was very different than what these vets were used to; they had everything from acupuncture to guided imagery meditation or chiropractors.
