Google is increasingly re-ordinarying information in the hopes that they can answer their questions directly. I refer to this participatory process as the IKEA effect of misinformation. So while business scholars have found that people who put together furniture themselves value it more than a similar piece of furniture, propagandists and conspiracy theorists are utilizing the same tactics.
