How to Move Misaligned and Important People to Important and Aligned
When you have stakeholders who are misaligned and important, maybe they need a really soft approach to sort of contrast from all those loud voices. Now on the other hand, there's times where a more confident, loud, in-your-face approach can be very effective. Another tactic I use is one that comes from human psychology, which is that when you make a concession, the recipient of that concession is more likely to reciprocate a concession.
