Is ATP a Hormone?
What are hormones? Do you know? Oh, gosh. Are they proteins? No, they're not. They're organized, coordinated, and controlled the functions of their cells and tissues. So essentially, in the same way that a neurotransmitter sends a message in your brain, a hormone sends a message somewhere else. That's really, so a hormone doesn't itself actually do something. It is just, it's just sending a message.
