The Importance of Heaven in the Christian Faith
There's something in us that longs to see a world put right and the timeline in this world is not quite long enough for it all to be achieved. The Nuremberg trials basically brought together the people who had wreaked so much damage on the world for a day of reckoning. It didn't repair or undo the damage, but it did give some sense of justice. And then lastly, we long to be a part of an eternal story,. We long for heaven, we long for it.
