Machine-Made Lace - Part Two

The stocking frame was invented in the late 1580s. The pusher machine can eventually recreate machine-made lace that resembles shanti handmade bobbin lace. One of the most important machines is Heathcote's bobbinette machine, which in its layout of the machine parts resembles the bobbin's on a lace maker's pillow.
