Southern italy has characterized the low trust society. Northern italy as a high trust society. The lack of social capital is a consequence, a by product, of an insecurity of property,. That's exactly right. And so as a result, the last way i would ras der of low trust is an irational response to the relative price that property owners would hold given the low levels of trust.
