The Effect of Tone Switches on Vowels

The pitch of a vowel gets bent a little bit at the end where they're, where they interact with a consonant. And that sort of bending is where the tone comes from. It's sort of like you have several generations of babies that pay more attention to that tone bending than to the consonant. I was just going to make a joke about how a vowel and a consonant love each other very much. And then they make a tone. And then the consonant goes away and the tones remain. Right. That's such a sad story. Don't make them to a children's novel. Oh, yeah. Go on.
