The bricks of life, the carbon, nitrogen, et cetera, they were produced by the death of precious stars. Right now there are many efforts to put our DNA on whatever kind of substrate and preserve it involved either in different place on Earth or on the moon. As far as brains concern and it's drawing towards transhumanism, which is the handsment of who we are through AI and machine learning. For me, I would say that taking care of our planets and going back to a place where we are in equilibrium with our environment would be also maybe the best backup possible.
