The Provisions of the Constitution for Citizens of India

Anyone who's born in India or either of whose parents are born in India will be a citizen. If that person migrated before July 1948 and were residents since then they would be registered as citizens. A majority of those people coming from Pakistan to India are going to be Hindus, Sikhs. Anyone who left India on or after first March 1947 will not be seen as a citizen of India even if they want to come back to India.
