The allan partridge book is where allan has basically decided he's going to make one of these shows. It's kind of taking the piss out of that genre e self discovery, row trip type t v shows. And it's kind of poking fun at that, at the same time as having fun with putting allan into these silly situations. Did you read the beasty boys book? Yes, which is absolutely brilliant as well. For us they were kind of like our beetles, yes. I mean, yets a bit of a weird comparison, but no, i get it. Some people still don't really know them that well. But for some reason, i felt like
