Are We Studying Few Shot Learning?

There are far more real world tasks that are few shot. They're just not recognized as machine learning tasks because they don't have big data sets around them. I've always felt humans are few shop learners, primarily. And if you take any sub slice of the full range of things that could be questions, each one of those is a fushot learning problem and we need much better generalization to solve any of them.
