The Importance of Living Books in Education
I just want to encourage moms too that this whole education is a living education and just like babyhood and every stage you've gone through with your children you were learning as you went. We shouldn't underestimate our children and we don't have to have all the knowledge for them to be doing a whole lot of learning. Charlotte Mason did believe in mothers and she believed that we had it in us to choose the books even if she wasn't going to require that. I venture to propose one or two principles in the matter of school books but not by me.
