The Lack of Product Raffinement in the Credit Market
Last year's credit blow up was tied to the lack of product sophistication, a proper robust repo market. I'm thinking more so just not understanding how to do proper credit analysis. But then, you know, if you have that product sophistication available, it makes risk management easier. So it's kind of a chicken and egg, but I think that the main problem of last year was still down to basic risk management.
