To gain muscle and not gain fat, what do we got to do here? We have to eat only slightly above maintenance. So obviously meat is really the foundation. Red meat is the foundation of ruminants. Then we could add in some chicken, some fish, some eggs. You can throw in some dairy,. if you tolerate dairy, great organic Greek yogurt, hard cheese, cottage cheese, all great. Carbs obviously going to be rice, potatoes, some sourdough bread, some oatmeal, fruit, veggies. Lift heavy weights three to five days a week in a range of five to ten reps. Go heavy. Very close to failure.
