The Importance of Historical Inquiry
Collingwood's idealism here is that yeah we our actions are our thoughts our actions. These are these are intertwined you can't separate out with a strainer or something how someone acted physically and how someone thought that they're actually combined. This was a really big project in Catholic moral theology in the 20th century following GEM Anscombe who focused on not on mental causes of beliefs but intentions so her all action theory. That kind of thing going back into into looking at how we act and the issues of like intention what do I intend to do in these and how that reduces morality that's right up this allied treating human interactions not as events in the physical world but as actions with intentions
