i feel like we've moved the first grade curriculum to kindergarten. And i don't know that most kids are ready to learn how to read when we're putting all this pressure on them to read at such a young age. So there is wrong pressure on children to jump ahead in their development, to do what they're not actually supposed to be doing. We sort of like burn them out so much faster and sooner because, you know, they have many more years to learn. The other thing is we're missing out on natural, organic developmental stages that are there to help children learn independently.
