Introduction

The history of philosophy podcast is presented by Peter Adamson. This week, we look at three traditions that were largely independent of one another. Most of aristotle and nearly all of plato were inaccessible in latin for several centuries. We will reach these byzantine and latin traditions in due course. But first i am going to take us down a third road, one that you need to travel from right to left. Philosophy in arabic.
