If God were to become mutable and ignorant like the creature, then everything Vantil says about mystery falls to the ground. I want to keep this focused on the worship of the immutable triune God who controls all things by his immutable plan. Yet prayer changes things. If God developed a new temporal and ignorant mode of existence in relation to the creature, the mystery would no longer be how an immutable God relates to the mutable creature and gives that creature authentic freedom.
