Introduction

This chapter explores the challenges organizations face in achieving full stack observability and introduces the concept of full stack observability, which involves the real-time monitoring and understanding of all technology components within a distributed IT environment. It also highlights that full stack observability goes beyond traditional monitoring and reporting by incorporating reasoning and machine intelligence to make recommendations and take actions.
