Icano: I think of fact checking as a mild negative filter that filters out the vers kinds of claims. Is it a way forward? I would hope so. But my concern with your suggestion is, first, it requires a lot of regulation. You are doing something very significant to the business model of facebook and that crosses a line that we don't usually do. And i guess i would prefer them to internalize all this in a way, as opposed to forcing them to contract and force their business model to do what you want them to do. Let them figure out how to do that.
