The classical way to do it, which I. recommend to all my students is landscape, not portrait, because it's easier to spread out and go in different directions. Start with an image in the center, even if you think you can't draw, because it will engage the imaginative pictorial part of your mind. Then print keywords and other images as they arise, put them on lines. The reason to print them is so you can read your own writing, because when you start to really get into this, the images and ideas start to flow. So that's your vibing together real time. It's to genuinely care about your audience and care about your message.
