Justin Trudeau gave a farewell speech to the Liberal Party at its convention in Toronto. He used Piaplaia's name instead of Jean-Chariis, who was his main rival for party leadership last summer. Peter Bergen says it would have sounded like scare tactics if he'd usedJean-Chari is not on same page as liberals about climate change or social programs. Bruce Boulden: It talked more about past accomplishments than what's the big ideas for the future. The language doesn't land with the same breakthrough impact that peer polyevs language has and so they need to define him.
