I love treating my big workouts during a marathon prep or a build or any endurance preparation the same as race day. I will practice my carbohydrate loading technique, the three or four days that I plan to use leading up to a race. And in the morning of a big workout, I will test what I'm gonna do the morning of race day. We want to train the way that we're going to be racing.
