If a person is praying to god to end an experience their having, and it does that doesn't mean a demon is causing it. It could end for either natural or supernatural reasons. Supernaturally, god might take mercy on the person and end the experience. Also, from a purely natural perspective, if a person is passionate about the experience ending, then they're obviously closed to what's happening to them.
