Is This a Comedy?
Even though it is about a traumatic experience that's slowly recovered over the course of the first few episodes, we kind of learn along with Arabella what happened to her on this night when she was given some kind of a roofie drug. So for the first couple of episodes, this is primarily a comedy, really. And even after the trauma starts to emerge, they continue to laugh, we continue to laugh. There's even sex comedy. I think it's subtle, but Arabella's insistence on continuing to be a sexual person is incredibly important to the narrative.
