Are We Closer to Fully Autonomous Weapons Than We Think?
In our first podcast, she and harris said that we are closer to developing truly autonomous weapons than we think. What do you think? I disagree with that because i disagree with the use of a purely onomous their degrees of autonomy. That kind of system would be able to form its own goal, go out and do its own mission, and then come back and basically then decide what its next goal would be. That's pure autonomy, particularly in warfare. Humans, at least for the foreseeable future, will always be in the loop.
