The Challenge for Netflix Is Getting the Rights to Knives Out on the Stream

Glass Onion, the sequel to Knives Out for which Netflix will release for a week in theaters at the end of November and then on streaming in December. This is a little bit different than what they've done normally because it's a movie that was a huge hit in theaters a few years ago; presumably would have been a big hit if we're released that way this year. The theater owners have been just chomping at this and I agree with you that they were naive to think that Netflix was ever going to do a meaningful theatrical play for this movie.
