Past Perfect and the Pronunciation

Past perfect is not as common as past simple or past continuous, but it's definitely used. It can be hard to notice the had part of past perfect. Also use past continuous, that was or were plus an ing verb. For example, I was living in Brighton at the time. Watch out for these sentences - they mainly contain past perfect.
