If a person likes you, they're going to marry you, right? But it would be great if they had some sort of a clue as to what they were going to be wearing on their hand for the rest of their life. Lots of people borrow tons of money to have a wedding. Think that's a terrible way to start out a marriage, with all kinds of debt hanging over your head. No, i'm not going to go spend 15 thousand dollars on a ring. You don't necessarily want to cheep out on something like this.

In this episode we discuss the cold hard truth that kids are just really, really expensive. Childcare is one of those things that can be complicated and expensive. We review some options for childcare and how to get a little cutback on the cost of that. We also discuss how much is reasonable to spend on an engagement ring, debate if second homes are worth purchasing, discuss the merits (or lack thereof) of robo-advisors, and review some of the ins and outs of Roth conversions.
