The Importance of Working on the Side
I definitely agree with you about working on things on the side. If you have this job, but your goal is to eventually go out on your own, taking some cracks at either your own products or service offerings that you could have outside in a smaller scale. But while you still have stability, I don't know that it's financially wise to jump in. It's going to be much safer, less risky for you to have a job that hopefully doesn't take everything out of you.
