Sinc te questionyimean strausar a ont of a low opinion of the term intellectual, so that those are not philosophers, necessarily. A lot of intellectuals or sort of pick up some fashionable idea and write it harder than it deserves to be ridten. It's not clear that those people ultimately enlighten their fellow citizens or elevate the debate. Sometimes they could almost make it worse by becoming more deological,. More hard and fast, more confident in their pronouncements.
