Are You Trying to Solve the Alignment Problem?

I was watching Elizorie Dowski on a podcast recently. He said we can't solve the alignment problem because we have no idea how to give a computer goal of make this strawberry. It sounds to me like if you could give the instructions, make a strawberry molecule by molecule, that's all it takes and the computer could figure out what to do with that. Why is it, why are things like these considered realistic? I should probably ask him, but, you know, you're familiar with their argument.
