The Challenge of a 100 Kilometer Tunnel
Tunnel would carry rovers higher than the tallest building in the world, sitting on top of a tube a meter long. The challenge is how protect the wires while they are under those enormous forces. "It's wonderful a thing to be working on, you know, s a privilege," says engineer Michael benedict.
