The Granite Columns Found at Petra
Granite columns found at petra are also in doubt, but they definitely came from outside of the nabatian kingdom. These nomads would use like trees and things that they chopped down and brought in to give tensile reinforcement for the masonry on the walls. They imported their construction of timber from lebanon a lot of the time. And they used bronze and iron fixtures, which i thought was interesting.
