"I was alive when they built Paramus Park. It's, I think it's the second biggest mall in America," he says of Willow Brook Mall. "We go there and hang there, but our town wasn't really Arabs in our town." The Arab-American community is a big part of his life now that he has moved to New York City. He also talks about growing up as an only child with no father or mother.
