Is Declan Rice a Bad Midfielder?
I don't think he's anywhere near as creative as Martin Odegas. You can get much better value for 100 million pounds than Declan Rice. He's English, so there's a premium on his price, which I think is nonsense. If he's not going to improve the team, is he worth spending 100 million on? We could argue that we need depth and you could argue that if we do qualify for the Champions League, which at the moment we're on course to do,. But I think one of the reasons we're so effective at the present is because it is perfectly balanced. It's about having a balance and having a structure that gets the best out of the players
