Is There Any Specific Policies or Laws That Are Really Essential to a Liberal Form of Politics?
Do you believe that there's specific policies or laws that are really essential to what we describe as liberal politics? I would think the crucial thing would be any institutional arrangements or laws or constitutions which set limits on power. And it's especially clear in the case of our democracy, where we do believe, most us, that there are limits on what a majority can do and those limits are set by our Constitution.
