Is There a Similarity Between Neuronal Networks and Mycelium?

There is an interesting structural similarity between neuronal networks and mycelium. The structures because the structures are maximized to allow the most connections, the most possibilities for new connections, that's probably why fungi are so fascinating. And fungus are similar, all those little strands underground hooking up together in similar ways. Yeah. It's unbelievable. I just find that really interesting. There's this book you should read. It's by like Robert Mix something, I think. Anyway, it's a great book. It's talking about the mushroom, the fungi stuff. It's really great.
