The Relationship Between Rationalism and Pluralism in Liberal Thought

The tension between rationalism, pluralism within liberal thought is longstanding. While both conceptions of justice and freedom might overlap, in the end they have different grounds and different methods of proceeding. In Levy's own words, I hope to displace understandings of the history of liberal thought that focuses overwhelmingly on social contract theory.
