I just this idea of preservation of soul and in going back to John Bellian cannot quote him enough he's got a song New York soul. I knew that ultimately it either ended in suicide or even if not in like killing of my body you might as well because my soul would have died long before my body according to Lincoln. It accelerated the pain enough to break inertia to make me want to change which is why I think so inertia is this function of being stuff is being stuck in something that's too good to leave but too bad to stay.
