Is the Septuagent Different From the Standard Hebrew Testament?
There were lots of different greek manuscripts translations of the old testament. How different depends on which ones you're talking about. The septuagent version of jeremiah is like a fifth shorter, a fifth a 20 % either shorter or longer. It differs from our standard hebrew testament by 20% and chapters are in different orders.
