The Atonement Christ Came and Atoned
Elder hafen taught that the atonement christ came and atoned so that we could learn from our mistakes, instead of being condemned by them. That's where the meekness comes in, as christ comes to teach sinners his ways. We just have to be coachable, malleable, teachable. In verse 11, for thy name's sake, o lord, pardon mine iniquity, for it is great. No wonder we can say in verse 22, redeem israel, o god, out of all his troubles. It doesn't just save me. It's about education.
