The Role of Ethnicity in Preterm Births
Preterm babies are just at higher risk of AKI to start with. So anything that makes a baby more likely to be born early, if you look at it from kind of a causality standpoint, is it doesn't fit on the kind of causal pathway but might be associated. I imagine a lot of those social determinants of health are even not even confounders,. But a lot of the primary causes I imagine of sometimes a lot of these injuries.
