The apology seems sincere, but he should be doing it without the excuses. The excuse of we didn't know or I trusted them is BS. These aren't real journalists, John. They're tech journalists. He has no idea how bad it is out there. It is bad out there right now. But when it comes to the integrity portion of it, he shouldn't have let those relationships affect his broadcasting and advice that he was giving.
