In this chapter, the speaker gives an analogy of a wave in the ocean to illustrate the fear of death and the realization of one's true nature. The wave initially feels horrified at the inevitability of death as it approaches the shore. However, upon attending a Gita class, it learns that it is not just a wave, but essentially water that does not die. Through this realization, the wave understands its unity with other waves and all beings, and the fear of death dissipates.
