The Importance of Writing Even When You're Not Writing Well
A big part of the Agatha Christie quote is the idea of writing, even when you aren't writing particularly well. I think that can be a lot of it is, especially writer's block that happens when you know what needs to be written. Just like with humans, with babies, the idea is always more perfect than the actuality. There's just the idea of this child could be anything that's not yet born. One day, this child will be here and it will be perfect. And then you realize, all humans are flawed, and that's what makes them more interesting than perfect ideas.
