The Importance of the Casablanca Conference

The British and the Americans had met several times before when they met several times after you know the same cast basically so it's not as if they didn't know each other or had no contact before Casablanca but I think at the Casablanca conference the British gained a new level of respect for the Americans. They were literally surrounded by barbed wire for ten days in this resort hotel and hung out in each other's rooms and really got to know each other better. friendships formed and bonds formed that I think served both sides very well.
